Your production is finished.
Let's bring it together.
Mixing is for songs where the performances, sounds and production decisions are already where you want them. Send the multitracks and we'll turn everything you've built into a cohesive, polished mix.
The creative decisions are made. Now it's about the mix.
MIXING IS A GOOD FIT IF
The song is fully recorded.
You're happy with the arrangement.
The sounds and production choices are already in place.
You can provide consolidated multitracks from the same start point.
The main goal is making everything work together as a finished mix.
STILL CHANGING THE PRODUCTION?
Mixing Plus may be a better fit.
If you're still hearing another texture, instrument, transition, production element or arrangement change, the song may need a little more than a standard mix.
Mixing Plus gives us room to address those creative details before finishing the mix.
Explore Mixing Plus →Everything needed to bring the mix across the finish line.
Full Mix
Your consolidated multitracks are balanced, shaped and brought together into one cohesive finished mix.
Editing + Tuning
Reasonable editing and tuning needed to support the finished mix are included.
One Revision
One consolidated round of mix notes is included after you receive the first mix.
Final Delivery
Organized final files delivered in professional formats for release, distribution and future use.
STANDARD DELIVERY
What you'll receive.
Common alternates include instrumental, TV mix and vocals-only versions when needed. The unmastered mix will naturally be quieter than commercially mastered releases.
A clear path from files received to final delivery.
FILES RECEIVED
Everything starts organized.
I'll confirm the files are ready, check the rough mix and references, and make sure we have what we need before the mix begins.
FIRST MIX
I build the first pass.
The full song is mixed with the production, performances and direction you've already established at the center of the process.
YOUR NOTES
You listen and respond.
Send one consolidated set of notes after you've had time to live with the mix and gather any collaborator feedback.
REVISION
We make the final adjustments.
Your included revision is completed and sent back for final mix approval.
APPROVAL
The mix gets locked.
Once you approve the mix, we prepare the final files and move to mastering if you've added it.
FINAL DELIVERY
Everything comes back organized.
Final mix files, requested alternates and any mastering deliverables are organized for release.
Good files make for a better start.
Don't worry about memorizing any of this before reaching out. Once the project is booked, you'll have a clear file-prep guide.
Consolidated WAV files
Every multitrack should begin at the same start point so the song lines up immediately when imported.
Native sample rate
Export at the session's native sample rate and 24-bit whenever possible.
Rough mix
Send the version you've been listening to so I can hear the balance and production direction you're used to.
References + notes
Include any useful references, BPM, key, time signature, lyrics or arrangement notes you already have.
Dry files are generally preferred unless an effect is an essential part of the sound. Mono sources should remain mono.

Typically up to one additional week after final mix approval.
A few boundaries that keep things moving.
One revision means one consolidated round.
Gather your thoughts and collaborator feedback into one set of notes so we can address everything together.
New production can change the scope.
If we discover the song needs significant new production, arrangement work or recording, we'll talk about it before anything is added.
Additional work is always discussed first.
Additional revisions or work beyond the agreed scope are billed at $150/hour with a one-hour minimum.
Let's hear where the song is now.
Send the rough mix, tell me what you're hearing and we'll make sure Mixing is the right fit before anything is booked.
Nothing is booked or charged when you reach out.
