Studio Prep Bundle

Get the session ready before the session starts.

The Studio Prep Bundle brings together four ASP Recordings resources designed to help artists move from preparation through recording and collaboration without the preventable file, workflow, and communication problems that slow sessions down.

Instead of trying to remember what to send, how to name it, what your mixer needs, how to prep a vocalist, or what to agree on with a remote player, this bundle gives you a repeatable system for the entire pre-mix workflow.

Included in the Studio Prep Bundle:

Session Prep Guide
Organize the song before files leave your computer. Covers rough mixes, references, file naming, export specs, stems vs. multitracks, session files, notes, and final delivery prep.

Mix Prep Checklist
Finish the production decisions before handing the song to a mixer. Covers final comps and edits, track consolidation, naming, export specs, dry vs. printed effects, rough mixes, references, and the final send-off.

Vocal Recording Prep Guide
Prepare the singer and the session before the mic turns on. Covers the days leading up to recording, key and lyric prep, warmups, headphone mix, mic technique, full takes, doubles, harmonies, comping, and session backup.

Remote Session Delivery Guide
Work smoothly with players, singers, and engineers from anywhere. Covers deliverables, revisions, payment terms, rough mixes, mix-minus files, charts, references, feedback, returned files, and archiving.

Together, these resources cover the practical work that happens before the mix - preparing the song, preparing the performer, preparing the files, and preparing the collaboration.

Best for:

• Independent artists producing their own releases
• Home-studio musicians
• Artists preparing songs for professional mixing
• Producers managing remote collaborators
• Singers preparing for recording sessions
• Songwriters hiring session musicians
• Anyone who wants a repeatable studio-prep workflow
